Career Fair to be hosted 10/7 at Turnbull Center

The College of Communication & Information (CCI) at Florida State University has partnered with the State Board of Governors (as part of the Florida IT Career Alliance – fitc.cci.fsu.edu) to host a Career and Educational event for local high schools as well as college students.  In the past few years, our Career event was exclusive to college students; we started at noon, invited employers to a lunch, and then hosted a Career Fair from 1-4pm where employers interacted with our students (and hired them as interns and employees).  This year is different!  This year we are excited to host local high school students and their teachers.

Tentative Agenda:

09:00-10:00am              Employers arrive and Set up!

10:00-12:00pm              High Schools/Teachers visit with companies

12:00-12:45pm              Lunch for Employers

01:00-03:30pm             College students meet with Companies

This Career/Educational event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7th, 2014.

Our last Career Fair in February attracted 52 companies and 270 students participated.
