NSSLHA Hosts Awareness Event on Landis Green

NSSLHA (National Student Hearing Speech Language Association) hosts an awareness event on Landis Green today, October 29, 2014. NSSLHA members gathered to inform students and passers by about the importance of hearing preservation.

The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA), founded in 1972 is a pre-professional membership association for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders. The organization, advised by Dr. Shannon Hall Mills and lead by president Eric Curkan is affiliated with the School of Communication Science and Disorders. The 70 members are predominantly involved in the major as current or perspective students enrolled in either graduate or undergraduate courses affiliated with the college.

The next meeting takes place Nov. 11 in the Globe, room 2600 at 7:30pm.
