Randeree Awarded Faculty/Staff Seminole Award

Ebe-Randeree-FSUAssociate dean Ebe Randeree, has been awarded the Faculty/Staff Seminole Award.

The Seminole Award is given to Florida State faculty or staff who have made major contributions to the University through service to students.

Randeree is an instructor in the School of Information and School of Communication, teaching IT Leadership and Careers in Communication to undergraduate students. His courses are well known for being real world savvy and help to prepare students for life after graduation.

As an advocate for students, he is the faculty advisor to a number of student RSOs, including STARS Alliance, a group that focuses on increasing the number of women and minorities in STEM areas.

The award follows the Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award he won through the College of Communication & Information for his dedication to teaching excellence, professionalism and effective communication with students.

Randeree accepts the award alongside Dr. Asha Fields Brewer of the CARE Program and William Francis, Director of the FSU Veterans Center.

“Happy to be in the company of the two other award winners. Thank you to the students who attended and for the opportunity to serve,” he shared via Facebook.

The awards were given during the annual Leadership Awards Night, hosted by the Division of Student Affairs.
