Child Advocacy Communication Internship with Opportunities to Specialize

The Children’s Campaign, Florida’s leading statewide child advocacy organization, is looking for students majoring in Public Relations, Media/Communication Studies, Information Communication Technology, and/or Editing, Writing, and Media to gain hands-on experience with our Communication Team. Projects span social media, graphic design, writing/editing, and more with opportunities to specialize in each area.  Although these are unpaid apprenticeship positions, you will gain experience working alongside seasoned professionals in the fields of communication and technology, and an invaluable understanding of the creative side of a nonprofit. If you can commit to 15-20 hours/week for at least two semesters, please send in your resume and at least two writing samples to resumes@iamforkids.org. Those interested in gaining further experience in visual communication should also send in graphic design samples and/or an online portfolio.
