Graphic Design Internship

College of Communication & Information

The College of Communication & Information is seeking a student to create and collaborate in graphic design projects. Functioning as a part of the Communication Team, this person is responsible for brainstorming concepts and developing designs in a timely manner. Student may also be required to attend and assist during photoshoots.

Responsibilities

• Design of digital and print posters, event programs, and advertisements • Printing with laser printer and large poster printer
• Meeting with faculty and staff for headshots

Qualifications

• Current Florida State University student
• Experienced Mac platform Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) • Ability to take direction
• Solid conceptualization, design and artistic ability

Scheduling

This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Hours are flexible to student schedules and can be used for credit.

Expectations

We hold our interns to the same standard as our staff and encourage a “hands-on” approach. Interns will have their own work load, work space, and deadlines.
