At On Call Computer Solutions, we are an award winning, full service IT firm based out of Tallahassee, FL.  We service large multinational corporations and local businesses, as well as residential clients, located throughout Florida and the tri-state area.  We are a mature company that is still experiencing rapid growth, and still innovating, too.

Internship Description:

As we are a full service IT firm, this will be an all-inclusive IT internship.  Time will be split approximately 50/50 between learning to repair PCs and working on our cloud solutions.  You will be working with our in-house technicians, on-site technicians, support staff, and in some cases the clients themselves, with the following duties:

Computer Repair:

  • Troubleshoot computer problems
  • Remove viruses, malware, adware, etc.
  • Replace defective parts on desktop and laptop PCs
  • Conduct data recovery
  • Other duties as assigned

Cloud Solutions:

  • Learn to administer Hosted Exchange
  • Learn to administer POP Email Accounts
  • Learn to administer Offsite Backup
  • Research and test new cloud solutions
  • Conduct sizing and ROI analyses for clients
  • Other duties as assigned

This is an unpaid internship, but can develop into a paid position in the future.  Additionally, this internship can be used for class credit.

Hours & Locations:

This is a part-time internship totaling approximately 10-20 hours per week, depending on your schedule.  All work will take place at our office in the Manor @ Midtown to start, although you may be going in the field with our on-site technicians at a later date.
