Responsibilities

Writes and edits news releases, feature stories, and print material content for the College of Education, including, but not limited to, the TORCH magazine, Annual Report, program brochures, and press releases.

Maintains and generates content for the College’s social media channels, CENN and the COE website by monitoring usage and providing regular updates.

Assists with alumni relations and recruitment efforts, including, but not limited to, all promotional materials related to alumni relations and recruitment content, writing profiles and news releases as needed.

Helps plan and coordinate college-wide events.

Act as a back-up for and assist with graphic design needs as well as special projects as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience related to the duties of this position; or a high school diploma or equivalency and six years of experience related to the duties of this position.(Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Schedule

If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
