  • In partnership with APHL, develop and maintain data feed from all Public Health Laboratories/Agencies to the CDC and HHS. More information .
  • Develop and maintain data feed from Quest Diagnostics to Public Health Agencies across the US.
  • Working with AWS, HHS, ONC and APHL COVID-19 immunization reporting.
  • Providing data to Florida’s COVID-19 Dashboard.
  • Managing COVID-19 data flows throughout the state of Florida.
  • Work with Google/Apple & Microsoft on exposure notification system .
  • Working on Centralized COVID-19 ELR from Kroger, Abbott, and other private testing facilities.
  • Advisors to several organizations entering COVID-19 response/recovery market.
  • Developed, host, secure and manage APHL’s AIMS Platform .

Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Project Manager serves a key role in the support of our customer delivery and company operations. The person in this position will be responsible for: working with customers, operational efficiency, and project delivery. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, possessing both strong technical and interpersonal skills.  This person is organized, flexible, has a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.  This person has leadership skills and has a positive attitude the organization can follow. They have an ability to manage resourcing needs while delivering services for all our customers.

Public health informatics is undergoing a substantial change following COVID-19 and Ruvos expects to grow and add new team members in a responsible way as a result. Our company’s financial success depends on quality, on-time delivery of services, which leads to new opportunities. Each role in the organization will contribute to supporting new customers and new initiatives from existing customers.
Location:
Ruvos is headquartered in Tallahassee, FL however this position is also available as a full-time remote position, with rare travel to HQ as necessary and feasible.  Candidates must live in the United States.

Job Responsibilities
  • General understanding of successful public health informatics solutions
  • Efficient communication of project changes and completions
  • Provide daily/weekly updates in Jira
  • Manage Jira tickets and tasks for assigned projects
  • Assist in leading and attending daily/weekly organizational meetings
  • Be a trusted advisor and consultant to our customers
  • Contribute to the overall success of automating solutions
  • Responsive to problems or issues per SLA
  • Leadership through inspiring project team members
  • Identify resource needs for projects
  • Proactive identification of project management trends
  • Collaborate on project budget and where necessary track spending and remaining budget
Required Job Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year university
  • 2 – 5 years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of project management practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of resource and budget management
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Experience using project management tool(s) (Preferred: Atlassian Jira)
  • Able to create presentations and present professionally
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with customers for solutions
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in GSuite
  • Knowledge of business and management principles
Classification
This role is full-time and, in accordance with FLSA, is classified as Exempt. An exempt employee is salaried and is not eligible to receive overtime pay, and is also excluded from minimum wage requirements.  This role can be remote.
