When it comes to television, there are awards, and then there is “THE” Award. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences: Suncoast Chapter, released its list of EMMY Award nominees and Seminole Productions Producer- Dianna Garbarino, was on it.
Garbarino was nominated in the Sports Segment category for “First Look, FSU Swimming.” The show, produced on behalf of Fox Sports, was a preview of the 2012 Florida State Swimming and Diving team.
“I am very humbled and honored to be nominated for this award” said Garbarino, “this is the highest honor anyone in my profession can achieve and I am still a little overwhelmed.” She may feel a bit overwhelmed, but this feeling can’t be new for Garbarino, this is her second EMMY nomination. The first coming in 2010 for “Seminole Gametime: Behind the Scenes-FSU Women’s Basketball.”
The EMMY Award winners will be announced Saturday, December 1st , in South Florida.
