The Executive Office of the President Library is seeking 2 interns for summer 2018.  One intern will work in the reference and technical services departments. Background:

The Executive Office of the President (EOP) is comprised of The White House Office, Executive Residence, Office of the Vice President, Office of the United States Trade Representative, Office of Science and Technology Policy, Office of the National Drug Control Policy, Office of Management and Budget, Office of Administration, National Security Council, Council on Environmental Quality, and Council of Economic Advisers. The EOP is responsible for a multitude of tasks ranging from communicating the President’s Message to the American people, to promoting our trade interests abroad.

The Executive Office of the President Library provides library and research services for all EOP components. Reference services include circulation, quick information response, in-depth research, interlibrary loan, and training. The Technical Services Branch administers the library system, acquires and catalogs library materials, and processes and maintains print and electronic collections. Interns assist librarians with routine reference services, as well as technical services projects and collection maintenance.
