The Florida Geological Survey has several opportunities for interns.  We maintain a full geoscience library as well as a sample repository.  The library maintains several reference databases, fulfills interlibrary loan requests, and serves the public in informational queries.  In addition, the FGS is continuously working on data and information preservation, converting analog formats to digital and maintaining a database of geologic information for our samples and documents.   We feel that interns could bring fresh perspectives in methodologies while gaining experience of their own.
