Engineering, Communication and Multimedia Services
Providing excellent service to our College customers (faculty, staff and students), across a range of computing support activities within our CMS Response Center. Provide personal computer support, including hardware repair, software installation, and troubleshooting. Assist with classroom technology and distance learning support.
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience related to the duties of this position. (Note:or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.) Experience with Microsoft Windows OS XP, 7, 8 & 10; Email clients (i.e., Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013); Microsoft Office 2007, 2010 and 2013. Basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills required. Strong experience with Customer Service. Experience with documenting processes (new and existing). Experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously. Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with Apple Mac OSX and/or Linux; Experience with audio and video equipment and classroom technology.
May consider a part-time schedule for a well-qualified candidate.
Some experience with computer programming and/or Microsoft server operating systems.
Anticipated Salary Range
$10.00/hr.- $12.00/hr, depending on qualifications
Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch (or a similar schedule, to be negotiated).
