Application Deadline: October 21, 2017
SalterMitchellPR is seeking a college student or recent college graduate to join its team and contribute to public relations, marketing and social media campaigns for clients such as Bank of America, Verizon, Nestle Waters, the Florida Department of Transportation and many others. The candidate will also support booking and producing episodes of the agency’s Fluent in Floridian podcast, which features interviews with Florida’s most influential leaders.
This is a paid position that allows students and recent graduates to hone their public relations and marketing skills in a real-world setting. While experiences vary depending on the talents and interests of selected candidates and the projects going on at the time, each intern/extern will leave SalterMitchellPR with a portfolio of projects to demonstrate their abilities as they pursue a career.
An ideal candidate is someone with a public relations or marketing background who asks thoughtful questions, can tell a compelling story, understands the strategy behind decisions and engages in developing tactics to ensure clients get the best SalterMitchellPR has to offer. It will also be very beneficial if the candidate has an interest in podcasting, booking guests and helping tell Florida’s story through the Fluent in Floridian podcast, which can be found at www.FluentinFloridian.com.
