Part-Time Assistant Veterinary Librarian

The part-time Assistant Librarian will maintain and promote the New Bolton Center library, providing reference assistance, outreach services, collection weeding and maintenance, and support for special projects. This is a one year term part-time position with possibility of extension contingent upon funding. Position located in Kennett Square, PA.

MLS degree and 0 to 1 year of experience in library environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong service orientation and demonstrated ability to work well with colleagues and the public. Familiarity with library operations, automated library systems, and computer proficiency. Good communication and customer service skills, good judgment, and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail and dependability. General familiarity with subject matter of health, animals preferred.
