The King’s Academy seeks Head Library Media Specialist (West Palm Beach, FL)

The King’s Academy, a non-denominational Christian preparatory school, is actively seeking a Head Library Media Specialist to oversee the School Library. This full-time faculty position will report directly to the Headmaster and will supervise a staff of two as well as coordinating activities and events with Friends of the Library, a volunteer organization of parents and grands.

The King’s Academy is a blue-ribbon school of excellence serving over 1100 students from Junior Kindergarten through twelfth grade.

The School Library is currently undergoing an exciting transformation with renovations to be completed for the 2016-2017 academic year commencing in August.

The successful candidate will hold a MLS, although a Bachelor of Library Science or Information Services may be considered. Additionally, the successful candidate will be personally aligned with the core values of The King’s Academy’s Christian world-view.  A complete compensation package is offered which includes moving expenses and free tuition for the candidate’s child(ren).
