College of Information Associate in Library Studies, Christie Koontz, has been chosen as chair-elect of the American Library Association/Public Library Association Research and Statistics Committee. The purpose of the committee is to foster the use of public library statistics; to recommend and promote the application of statistical research; to develop new statistical methods; and to advance public librarianship through the use of statistics.
