Comm School Contributes Research to International Association for Media and Communication Research Conference

The 2018 International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) conference took place in Eugene, Oregon, June 20-24. A dozen FSU School of Communication students, alumni, and faculty attended the conference to present their work.

IAMCR conferences address a wide range of topics defined by 31 thematic sections and working groups. Additionally, IAMCR includes a single central theme to be explored throughout the conference “with the aim of generating and exploring multiple perspectives on a shared set of issues,” according to their website. For this year’s conference, the central theme was Reimagining Sustainability: Communication and Media Research in a Changing World.
