Job title: Intern, Graphic Design

Reports to: Director, Marketing & Brand Development

Job purpose

The Graphic Design Intern will work in a support role and will design, edit and create promotional materials within the marketing department for websites, social media and print, for both B2B and consumer-facing projects. This position offers great growth opportunity within an expanding organization. Complex Sports & Entertainment is looking forward to adding to their team of individuals who are highly motivated in producing world class events, while having fun, building relationships and making lasting memories.

Duties and responsibilities

• Design clear engaging graphic communications for print and web. This will include marketing/communication brochures, direct mail pieces, web site and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed.
• Work closely with Director of Marketing to translate messaging concepts into marketing materials.
• Assist the Director of Communications and Marketing with other projects TBD.

Experience

• Education in one of the following: architecture, environmental design, retail design, interior design, industrial design, exhibit design or experiential design.
• Currently in pursuit of associate’s, bachelor’s, or graduate degree at an accredited college or university.
• Preferred degree of study in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or closely related field.
• Individual should be able to craft and execute a vision with creativity and style.
• Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration.
• Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop and/or other common design applications.
• Ideal candidate will be energetic, task-oriented, and creative with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate well with others and always maintain a professional appearance.

Physical requirements
