University of Oregon Libraries

November 16, 2020

The University of Oregon Libraries Administration is accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Vollstedt Internship.

The Vollstedt Internship for Library Administrative Services will provide the opportunity for the intern to look ‘inside’ the administrative unit of a large academic library to better understand how the variety of areas involved with administration interacts with the traditional parts of the library. The intern will gain experience in the areas of assessment, communication, and human resources.

The internship period will be from January 4 – June 30, 2021 with the intern working no more than 300 hours (15-20 hours per week for approximately 20 weeks during the 6 months). The internship will be conducted remotely with an hourly rate of pay of $15.

The Vollstedt Internship is made possible through the Maryruth “Mimi” Vollstedt Student Internship Endowment Fund (https://library.uoregon.edu/vollstedt-internship).
