FLA Scholarships (AA-BS-MLIS)

The Florida Library Association (FLA) Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that the application process has begun! Please consider applying for a scholarship this year and/or spread the word! Feel free to post or share the attached flyer at your work or school.

The scholarships will be awarded in the spring of 2016 and scholarship recipients will be recognized at the 2016 Annual Conference.

Three graduate school scholarships ($2,000 each) are available: one for a student attending Florida State University, one for a student at the University of South Florida and a third, the Minority scholarship, which may be used at either school.

To qualify for a Minority Scholarship, the candidate must belong to one of the following ethnic groups: Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Pacific Islander, or American Indian/Alaska Native.

Additional scholarships are available for undergraduates: one for a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree ($750) and one for a student pursuing an associate’s degree ($350).
