International Medical Outreach (IMO) @ FSU

International Medical Outreach (IMO) at Florida State University is looking for a student who would be willing to help the organization update our official website, which is currently www.fsuimo.org. Our website is vital because it allows potential donors to gain access to important information about the program and the students they are donating for, and it also provides information for prospective members and Florida State as a whole. We wish to upload pictures of the new members along with brief biographies, while archiving the pictures and biographies of the previous members.

The position advertised is unpaid and will be extended only to candidates who are fully committed to working alongside IMO members until the project is successfully completed.

International Medical Outreach is a recognized student organization at FSU that is based out of the Center for Leadership and Education.  The members of IMO collaborate with the Caribbean American Medical Education Organization on three missions per year (Spring & two Summer missions) to set up clinics in rural towns in which healthcare is not easily accessible to the general population.  This year the missions will take FSU students to Jamaica and Grenada.  IMO’s mission is to unite the efforts of a select group of pre-health students and medical staff in an international service learning experience that provides first hand medical care in countries less advanced.
