ANNOUNCEMENT:
The University of West Georgia’s Educational Technology & Foundations Department, School Library Media Program, has a possible one-year temporary faculty position opening. UWG is located in Carrollton, Georgia, about 50 miles west of Atlanta, Georgia.
This possible temporary position may become a full-time tenure track position.
Basic requirements are:
Must hold a Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree in School Library Media or related field
Have experience as a P-12 school library media specialist
Have experience teaching in an online environment
The job requires the following:
1. Teaching 3-4 courses per semester in fully online environment (usually courses available to be taught summers).
2. On campus and online advisement of M.Ed. and/or Ed.S. students.
3. Committee work at Department, College, and University levels.
4. Scholarly activities: publishing, presentations, and research.
