IT/AV Support

The FSU College of Law Technology Department currently has a part-time OPS IT Helpdesk position available. Schedule is flexible and can work around most school schedules. If you are interested please send your resume to helpdesk@law.fsu.edu.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010-2013. Basic understanding of operating systems, network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Previous Customer Service experience.
  • Experience with computer operations, functions, and related peripherals
  • Experience with documenting processes (new and existing).
  • Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment.
  • Professional demeanor and proper office and telephone etiquette are essential.
  • Strong communication skills required, including ability to communicate effectively orally and draft basic business correspondence.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the phone. Must be organized.
  • Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, or modifies computer hardware, multimedia equipment, and related devices. Installs and customizes application software.
  • Trains users on basic computer functions, software, or multimedia equipment to facilitate and enhance their work experience.
  • Coordinate support tickets and resources as necessary to resolve customer issues.
  • Able to work multiple customer issues while providing high level customer satisfaction .
  • Follow up with customers to ensure that customer inquiries are resolved within the contracted time frame.
  • Courteously and tactfully handle customer support issues in a professional manner.
