The ITS HR Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and insight into the various aspects of human resources within the Information Technology Services (ITS) department. The intern will work closely with the HR team, contributing to recruitment efforts, ensuring accurate completion of important actions, and supporting HR administration functions, including special projects as assigned to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. The intern will be able to work under the guidance of an experienced supervisor who has made significant contributions to the HR team.

Main Responsibilities:
• Assist the HR Business Partner team with daily administrative operations, participating in the recruitment process, time entry process, and other departmental HR processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the entire HR team to understand areas of process improvement and develop ideas and materials (i.e., onboarding, streamlining processes, etc.).
• Review and analyze HR policies, procedures, and forms and recommend changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Research, compile, and analyze HR-related queries and data and enter data into spreadsheets.
