School of Communication Assistant Professor Arienne Ferchaud published her debut novel, Lifeshaper, in June, 2024. “I’m excited that this is just something totally different for me. At work, I am a social scientist focusing on media effects/media psychology. This was a chance for me to stretch my creative muscles and do something totally outside of my training,” said Ferchaud.

iSchool Professors Called to Write Third Edition of Book

School of Information (iSchool) adjunct professor Christie Koontz and retired faculty Lorri Mon have been called to write the third edition of their book, “Marketing and Social Media: A Guide for Libraries, Museums and Archives!” Koontz and Mon initially collaborated on their first book in 2014 after teaching innovative marketing and social media management classes for the iSchool at Florida State University.
