Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication Launches “Become a Friend of the Center” Fundraising Campaign to Support Next Generation of Leaders

Written by Melany Sarcevic

The Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication (CHMC) is excited to announce the launch of its new fundraising campaign, “Become a Friend of the Center,” aimed at supporting students in various ways. The campaign will run from February 13 until March 13, with the goal of raising $5,000 to directly benefit students in need of financial assistance.

The “Become a Friend of the Center” campaign is focused on providing resources to students who show exceptional promise in their fields of study but require additional support to thrive academically and professionally. Throughout its 20 years, the CHMC has constantly provided students with support, which has led to a growing community of multicultural marketing and communication professionals who contribute innovative perspectives to the industry.

Become a Friend of the Center!
Your contribution isn't just a donation. It's an investment in the future of talented students who need us now more than ever.“Your contribution isn’t just a donation—it’s an investment in the future of talented students who need us now more than ever” said Dr. Sindy Chapa, Director of the CHMC. “These students are our future. With the proper support, they can go on to be the leaders of tomorrow.”

Every dollar raised through the “Become a Friend of the Center” campaign will go directly toward funding scholarships, internships, conference travel and other resources that help students reach their full potential. Donors will have the opportunity to directly contribute to shaping the careers of talented students, many of whom are first-generation college students with a drive for academic excellence.

Former scholarship recipient and current graduate student Santiago Reyes said, “As a first-generation student in the United States, the support I received from the Center has been incomparable; it has been the backbone through my academic journey.”

Donations of any size are welcomed and will make a difference in each student’s academic career. Share your love and change a life!
