Responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing routine tasks under the supervision of the Helpdesk Manager at the College of Law. Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, or modifies computer hardware, multimedia equipment, and related devices. Installs and customizes application software. Trains users on basic computer functions, software, or multimedia equipment to facilitate and enhance their work experience. Coordinates support tickets and resources as necessary to resolve customer issues. Simultaneously addresses multiple customer issues while providing a high level of customer satisfaction. Follows up with customers to ensure that customer inquiries are resolved within a suitable timeframe. Courteously and tactfully handles customer support issues in a professional manner.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency. Customer support and some technical experience.

This position requires the ability to work in an academic environment and communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff who may not have a strong computing background. Dress and conduct must be neat and professional. Excellent communication and customer services skills are essential.
Preferred
Experience using and supporting Microsoft Windows based computers in a business environment is preferred. Experience supporting computers in an Active Directory environment and troubleshooting network connectivity issues is also preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range
$10.00 – $12.00 an hour, depending upon experience and level of technical expertise.

Schedule
Less than 30 hours per week.
