The Florida Forestry Association is one of the state’s oldest conservation groups. Founded in 1923, the Association represents growers and users of Florida grown wood in legislative and
congressional forums; provides educational opportunities to train professional timber harvesters; conducts an annual convention; monitors and informs our members of issues that could impact the growth and use of Florida’s forest resources.
We are very interested in providing an internship opportunity for a junior/senior level student in communications. The job would consist primarily of setting up a facebook community for the Florida Forestry Association; updating web site; developing a media center; expanding social media opportunities for the forest industry.
