30A Alliance Virtual Internship Not for Profit

30A Alliance Advisory Board based in Wallon county was initiated by the Seaside Institute in January 2019 to address common impact issues along Highway 30-A (running past Seaside, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, etc.).  We are tasked with identifying prominent concerns and opportunities important to our communities in South Walton county.  Our members are representative of the various communities along 30A.

We are in need of a technically savvy student to help us to continue to develop our website (we have a domain name).    This would be an unpaid internship, however, the student would gain actual experience working with a not-for-profit AND getting exposure working with business people (e.g., President of Alys Beach, Founders of Seaside, retired hospital president, etc.

For myself, Mary Zahner, I have a Ph.D. in psychology and work remotely as a management consultant for a management consulting firm in St. Louis (CMA).  We will make every effort to make sure the student will have a good experience and exposure (albeit remotely).  I will coach the student in making a presentation to our board – and how to add such an opportunity on his/her resume.
