All students interested in internships with the SBA should email a copy of their resume directly to me at peggy.prophet@sbafla.com. They will go through an initial screening interview with me and then if they meet all candidacy requirements they are eligible to be considered for an interview with the supervisor in charge of the I.T. intern positions. I have attached a copy of our College Internship Program Brochure which goes into great detail about the program and gives an overview of SBA as well. Interns must be at least in their Junior year of college studies, have a GPA of 3.0 at a minimum and be working towards a related degree.
Our interns are generally hired on a semester to semester basis (Jan-April, May-Aug, Sept-Dec). Successful interns may be offered an additional 1-2 semester terms in the program. At this time preference may be given to students who will continue their college studies at least to August 2011 or December 2011.
