Department – Information Technology Services

Responsibilities
The Microsoft Technologies and Services (MSTS) team with Information Technology Services (ITS) is hiring a full-time OPS position (time-limited, funding ends February 2016).  This position will support the team with: reviewing and assigning problem tickets to MSTS members; troubleshooting and resolving problems reported to MSTS; completing technical tasks/operations assigned to MSTS; and performing administrative tasks.  The MSTS team is responsible for the administration of central enterprise Microsoft technologies and services, which include directory services, email, communications, file sharing and collaboration, database services, and Windows server administration, to the university community.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four year equivalency and two years’ experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.

Required skills include the ability to: communicate effectively (verbally and in writing); establish and maintain effective relationships; prioritize, organize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; utilize problem solving skills; apply knowledge of computer software and operating systems; ability to utilize technical skills.

Preferred

Preferred experience in Information Technology and Microsoft systems and applications (i.e., Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Windows Server 2008 / 2012).

Anticipated Salary Range

$12-15/hour; Depends on experience

Schedule

If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
