2 Undergraduate Hourly Research Assistantships

Two undergraduate hourly research assistantships are available for a project in knowledge organization and image indexing. The students will work closely with School of Library and Information Science faculty on a controlled experiment design, experimental system design and development, data collection, and developing and maintaining project website.

Qualification requirements
Students should know php and web design.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a project website
• Assist in designing and developing an experimental system based on an existing open source php application

• Assist in designing and conducting controlled experiments
• Code and user documentation

Duration of the assistantships: 9 months

Pay rate: $10/hour for 20 hours biweekly

Start date: Immediately
