Job Description:
PATLive is looking for a highly motivated intern to join our programming department, who is eager to learn a lot in the process. The Programming Intern will assist with website maintenance, debugging, redesign, and database work, while learning to use the SCRUM methodology of project management to tell epic stories and complete heroic tasks. The intern will work hand in hand with our programming team to ensure the reliability of all of our web activity. Further, under the guidance of the Programming Intern Supervisor, the intern will assist the maintenance team in completing phases of long term development projects. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:
Assist in web maintenance
Be part of a team that debugs and continually redesigns for improvement
Assist with database work – run queries, build and join tables
Learn and utilize the SCRUM methodology in project management
Assist with ongoing projects for product development and design
Correspond with customers regarding troubleshooting and maintenance requests
Qualifications:
Be a rising Junior or Senior college student
Pursuing a degree in a computer programming, IT, or related field
Ability to pass Level 2 background check, if necessary
Intermediate level skills in:
ASP.NET
C#
JavaScript
JQuery
HTML
CSS
SQL
Notepad++
Intermediate Excel and spread sheet ability
Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts with exceptional attention to detail
Strong problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
MUST be a strong team player, but also have superior individual work ethic
Big Pluses!
Knowledge of and experience working with LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) and GitHub/SourceSafe/Visual Studio web applications.
Project management skills (Jira, etc.)
