Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area; or a high school diploma/equivalent and four years of full-time experience related to the duties of the job.

Experience in the following areas:
Server system set up, back up, maintenance;
Apple computer hardware and software support; and
Website design and maintenance.

Background Check Requirements

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.

Preferred

Experience in any of the Performing or Fine Arts.
Experience with shooting, editing, and storage of digital video.
Experience with Florida State University server systems, networking, mail accounts, etc.
Experience with supervision of students or a small staff of assistants.

Schedule

30 hours per week.  Flexible, but primarily between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

-Director of Media Technologies Lab.
-Network Administrator for the School of Dance and Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography, (MANCC).
-Develop and maintain departmental and MANCC websites.
-Develop and maintain departmental intranet.
-Maintain departmental and MANCC computers for faculty and staff.
-Research, advise, and oversee procurement of computer and technology related processes.
-Assist faculty, staff, students, and MANCC guests with the use of technology.
-Liaison with ACNS, User Services, other departments, vendors, and various contacts for technology related issues.
