The College of Law is hiring an A&P position. This is a position within the Law School Admissions office and is a very technology oriented position. We are looking for candidates that have a strong data background and experience in MS Excel macros and pivot tables (in order to manipulate data) is a plus.

Job Responsibilities are as follows:
Manages the law school applicant database, electronic application system, and user profiles for the applicant database. Ensures the accuracy of applicant data in law school database and the transfer of data to NWRDC using the data bridge. Troubleshoots data exchange issues between the applicant database and NWRDC. Major participant in team approach to the evaluation of processes and makes recommendations to expand or modify existing systems to improve work flow.
Responsible for the compilation of data and production of statistical reports to include daily status reports, projections on applicant data, applicant credential analysis, transfer and visitor reports, the annual admissions report and accrediting body data collection. Reviews and analyzes data or information, interprets data and information, prepares recommendations, and reports findings. Serves as liaison with departments requesting reports related to entering student data.
Evaluates academic records for eligibility and advises students regarding eligibility problems for admissions. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries of students, parents, academic and administrative units, as well as other university personnel concerning JD program admission requirements. Meets with prospective students as to their needs for counseling and advising related to JD program admission. Assists and participates in law school recruiting events (some travel required). Routinely provides tours of the law school to prospective students and parents / guests.
Coordinates the evaluation process for students applying for JD program, transfer and visitor admission to ensure applications are processed in a timely manner. Processes decisions and decision letters on all applicant files. Coordinates the dissemination and collection of call sheets to the admissions committee for admitted students. Processes appropriate paperwork for accepted students and ensures records are ready for matriculation. Performs other duties as needed.
