Director of Library Research and Assessment, University of North Texas, Denton, TX

The University of North Texas is looking for a Director of Library Research and Assessment to be responsible for oversight and guidance of research and assessment activities undertaken by our librarians or staff. The UNT Libraries strongly emphasize evidence-based decision making in our planning, and the individual in this position plays a major role in leading our assessment programs, our growing externally funded research projects, and the education of library professionals in research protocols. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Libraries, in consultation with the Dean of Libraries, this position works with library faculty and staff to lead, advise, and provide oversight with research methods, data gathering and analysis, preparation of grant proposals, and management and reporting for grant-funded projects.
