Educational Program Administrator

Half-time OPS position with flexible work hours administered by the University of South Florida (USF), College of Education’s Healthy Schools Project.  This position will be physically located in the Office of Healthy Schools at the Florida Department of Education in Tallahassee. The Project is funded by grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the grant that funds this position is entitled “HIV Prevention for School Age Youth.”

Salary: $18-$21 per hour

Duties:

Assume overall responsibility for managing the Office of Healthy Schools website. Participate in the planning of workshops, meetings, and other program services. Participate in the management and operation of a resource library that delivers services statewide. Participate in the preparation of required government reports. Other duties include developing marketing materials, editing publications, and managing databases. May have occasional in-state travel to deliver client services or host exhibits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Education, Health Education, Management Information Systems, Library and Information Studies, Instructional Design, English, or Business, and two years of professional experience; OR a masters degree in one of the above mentioned fields.
