Annual Salary Range: $45,173.44 – $75,000.00

Career Service Position Responsible for broad-based enterprise architecture design, planning and implementation, especially with service-oriented architecture frameworks: FEAF, Zachman, TOGAF, DODAF, SOA Components (e.g., Web Layers, Enterprise Services Bus, etc.) Strategic planning, portfolio management and application/technology road mapping.

Mapping, managing and monitoring an enterprise’s application portfolio. Design and create an ongoing application portfolio management program. Research, evaluate and select from existing and emerging technologies the  options best fitting business and IT strategic needs.

Leads efforts to catalog and share research results related to current vs. future architecture states. Strong modeling skills, including business, process, requirements, applications, software, data, and technology. Manage problem or solution analysis, including requirements techniques like UML.

Proven project planning and management skills, including project estimating, cost-benefit and benefits realization analysis.   Leads projects that are part of a broader portfolio or program and coordinates delivery of other projects outside of their control or purview.   Proven success as a change agent, with the ability to envision and clearly communicate future states.

Knowledge of IT governance, including COBIT or ITIL. Experience with Enterprise Business Architecture tools (BPM, rules engines, EA Modeling tools), Software application portfolio and development methodology. Demonstrated ability to emerge as “trusted advisor” for executive-level clients. Proven experience in analyzing and modeling data architectures and  process architectures. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain and document the enterprise Individual and Leadership Skills ∙        Ability to advise technology teams and present to senior leadership ∙        Strong leadership skills to indirectly manage across functional teams toward common solutions.
