IT Support Technician – OPS

Job Title – IT Support Technician – OPS

The FSU College of Medicine Help Desk is looking for 2 energetic OPS employee’s to assist the FSU Med Community with their IT related needs.

 

The primary duties of these position include:

  • Assist Tier I technicians in the MED Help Desk
  • Assist MED students, faculty and staff with creating Help Desk tickets
  • Monitor the Help Desk ticketing system and communicate with Help Desk staff and customers
  • Perform basic IT troubleshooting to assist the Help Desk staff
  • Create IT documentation when applicable
  • Maintain inventory of CoM IT toner supply and stockroom
  • Assist Help Desk technicians process and print posters via large format plotter

 

Required skills:

  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple assignments
  • Basic computer skills

 

Preferred skills:

  • OMNI knowledge
  • Experience with FSU purchasing processes and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7, Mac OS X, Office 2013, Adobe Creative Suite, Android and iOS mobile devices
