We are looking for a lead IT/Cerner Application Analyst responsible for the evaluation, design, build, testing, issue resolution, and maintenance of Cerner applications. This position should have familiarity with multiple Cerner applications and how they interconnect; knowledge of Cerner’s data model and the ability to query the database via CCL; project implementation and conversion experience; process flow collection and documentation experience. This position acts as a mentor and team-builder for other Application System Analysts. This position must be able to resolve complex problems that may involve various groups across functional lines and exercise independent judgment in developing process, techniques and success factors.
The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in Information Science or related field with five (5) years experience developing and supporting Cerner applications. Must be familiar with and have applied best design practices, patterns and principles in their modeling and software development work. Expert knowledge of relational logical and physical data modeling. At least one year of experience managing/leading project(s), which included three or more developers. Experience on a number of projects in all stages of the development life cycle. Must have good writing, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Eight or more years experience preferred.
