Pool/Per diem position. Master’s Degree in Library Science from a library school accredited by the American Library Association.Two (2) years of post-degree reference experience in a health sciences library setting or three (3) years of post-degree reference experience in a science and technology library. Knowledge and experience in automated library technology and database management(e.g. OVID, PubMed, LAN/WAN, ILS, LUIS, OPAC, OCLC, Internet, NT, etc.)Serves as Reference and Education Librarian. Provides in-depth reference and research services to all employees, affiliates, and the community. Conducts literature searches, library and database orientations, and user education services. Assists users in the general use of the library, including its indexes, directories, reference tools, and audiovisuals. Assists with computer programs and document scanning. Evaluates, recommends, and participates in the selection of print, electronic, and other multimedia resources. Provides document location and retrieval services.109022
