Armacost library at Eckerd College, a private liberal arts institution on Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida, is currently hiring for the position of Resource Sharing Coordinator.
Reporting to the Access Services Librarian, this position is responsible for managing the library’s resource sharing services and providing circulation/information customer service for the college community. This staff member will fulfill all interlibrary loan (ILL) requests and returns to partnering institutions using the OCLC Tipasa system, the ExLibris library system, and a variety of document delivery services. The position requires the supervision and training of student assistants in resource sharing procedures, the library’s circulation system, and customer service. This staff member works both independently and collaboratively. The Resource Sharing Coordinator is detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, task-oriented, with highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
