Artificial Intelligence and Engineering Librarian @ FSU, Strozier Library

Responsibilities

  • Create, deliver and evaluate instructional and consultative services related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies that advance research, teaching, and learning. This includes creating instructional materials, teaching workshops, and consulting scholars on AI/ML practices on topics such as: prompt engineering, machine learning libraries, computational linguistics, and research methods.
  • Serve as the academic liaison to the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and other areas based on academic background and interest. This includes course integrated development and offer research services related to artificial intelligence for research, teaching, and learning.
  • Collaborate with library colleagues, faculty, and others within assigned liaison areas to align instruction, reference, collection, and research support with the evolving needs of students and faculty.
  • Provide service to the Libraries, the University, and the profession by contributing to committees, participating in research and other forms of scholarly activity.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in a STEM discipline and/or ALA accredited degree in library/information science.
