The Manatee County Library System is currently recruiting for an Assistant Library Services Manager.
This role oversees the daily operations of the Downtown Central Library, including supervising the section managers of Circulation, Information, Technical and Youth Services. This position also assists the Library Services Manager to develop and coordinate system-wide policies, procedures, service models, programs and capital improvement goals. While engaged in important administrative functions, the Assistant Library Services Manager also interacts with teams throughout Manatee Libraries, other County departments, and community, education and business organizations.

Built in 1978 and renovated in 2015, this destination library features meeting rooms, study rooms, Area 52 creative lab, mobile demo kitchen, large research and genealogy collections, and the Eaton Florida History Room, all overlooking striking views of the river.
