Job Description and Major Responsibilities
VISIT FLORIDA, the official tourism marketing corporation for the State of Florida, is looking for an individual with interest in the evolving area of search engine optimization, website user experience, and digital media who has proven knowledge of web analytics tools to fill our Digital Marketing Strategist position. You will implement processes to maintain editorial content and increase visibility of content through search engine optimization and contribute in the following ways:
  • Create web content audit plan, present to management and implement plan to optimize the visibility of content and performance of content.
  • Maintain health of content management system (CMS). Perform content audits on content to identify areas of content opportunity, content archival and redirects in accordance with SEO and editorial best practices.
  • Perform optimization of editorial content for visibility in search engines, including metadata, keyword seeding, alt tags, and other onsite improvements in accordance with SEO best practices and editorial and brand guidelines.
  • Perform off-page SEO tasks following established processes to strengthen Florida’s presence across the digital landscape.
  • Perform A/B testing on website content and identify opportunities for user experience improvements.
