General Summary
Milner Library provides access to over $3 million worth of electronic and continuing resources. This position supports all aspects of the electronic and continuing resources lifecycle, including acquisition, cataloging, discovery, activation, troubleshooting, renewal, de-selection, and post-cancellation access. This position is responsible for the cataloging and maintenance of electronic and continuing resources in all subjects and languages including portfolio maintenance for electronic serials and copy cataloging of ebooks. All activities are directed toward collaborative solutions for improved discoverability, seamless access, and accurate representation of the library’s materials for use by the University community.
Additional Information
The Technical Services unit of Milner Library provides user-centered access to the intellectual resources of Milner Library through cost-effective acquisition, efficient creation and enhancement of resource descriptions, and proactive management of resources across diverse systems.
Required Qualifications

A graduate degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association or an ALA-recognized international equivalent conferred prior to the position start date
At least one year of electronic resources, acquisitions, or technical services experience
An aptitude for project planning and management, as well as excellent organizational, time-management, and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to collaborate with diverse constituencies
