With the recent investment from the District of Columbia Council, DC Public Schools will have a full-time librarian in all schools this upcoming fall semester.  DC Public Schools has many school librarian vacancies open at all levels and are actively recruiting interested candidates for the upcoming school year.  We are adjusting our hiring qualifications to permit students who have completed 18 hours of graduate coursework in library science to be considered for these full-time positions.  Please share the following information with your graduate students.  Interested applicants are encouraged to apply now to be part of a vibrant professional library community in our nation’s capital.
