Library Branch Supervisor –  Trains and supervises staff and volunteers and acts as liaison for an active Friends group.  Manages facility, overseeing maintenance, technology concerns, collection development and community programming needs.  Maintains current awareness of professional library issues, developments, materials and equipment with emphasis on library trends and services.

Must possess the ability to work with clientele of a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.   Must possess knowledge of and have the ability to provide basic computer technology and training to adults and children.  Must have effective ability to communicate and collaborate with library and county administration as well as partner with community individuals and organizations.  Must be able to speak in front of community groups and promote library services.  Regular attendance and availability during all operating hours with the ability to work at any MCPLS location.
