Tallahassee Community College Library is currently hiring a part-time Librarian to work at our main campus library in the evenings!
Minimum Training/ Experience: Master of Library and Information Science Degree from an ALA-accredited institution or currently in school for a Master of Library Science or Master of Science Information Degree. Some customer service and library experience preferred. Must be able to work M-TH 3:30-7:30 and Friday hours are flexible, 20-25 hours a week.
OPS Librarians will: Answers questions and assists with research in person and by telephone and with other technologies. Assists library users in the use of print and on-line resources and in locating materials. Responds to routine problems library users may encounter with computers, printers, copiers, software and other technology. Maintains currency regarding reference, research, and database sources. Performs other position specific functions as assigned. Opens and closes the library, as needed.
HOURS: 20-25 hours per week
START DATE: As soon as available.
