OPS Information Specialist III @ Bureau of Library and Network Services, the State Library of Florida

Position # 45945125

This position will be responsible for a wide-range of activities in support of the State Library of Florida.

The candidate will work in collaboration with staff in the lending services section to assist in providing customer service to library patrons

Tasks

  • Provides information for in-person telephone and electronic inquiries.
  • Performs circulation and interlibrary loan activities.
  • Assists with collection development in accordance with the Collection Development Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KSAs

  • Ability to provide customer service to library users.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
  • Ability to work with a variety of computer applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of library and information science.

 

Working hours: Part-time, Monday thru Friday, not to exceed 28 hours per week

Pay: $15.00/hr.
